Rut Dreams – Deer Season Stories
The rut had taken a tole on the whole crew. Unseasonable warm weather and strange season changes made for a difficult peak hunting period for a big buck.
WEIRD DEER ENCOUNTER
Sonny and his friend were driving along viewing scenery when they came across this strange rutting buck. As seen in this footage the deer lets them grab on to his only remaining antler and clearly was stressed out from something previously.

As the rut tails off, the bucks takes some time to recharge their batteries. They will either be laying low and keeping their activity to a minimum or hitting the food.
