Iowa Sinkhole Deer Rescue | Extreme
About Video
Uploaded on 2 September, 2014
High school friends made a surprising find after getting a tractor unstuck from a sinkhole. The young men made a quick ethical decision to perform a dramatic rescue on the 10-point buck that was stuck in the same hole in the ground. Eric Smorstad, Bryton Meyer, Gavin Nimrod receive credits for the footage and saving the deer in Winneshiek County. The farmland belonged to Eric’s father.

I did video tape more but in order to upload it to Facebook and send it in an email, I needed to edit it so the size of the file would fit. Otherwise, it would be too big to upload anywhere.
