Starlings’ Aerobatics, “Murmuration” | Upland Game Birds
About Video
Uploaded on 17 April, 2012
Thousands of starlings gathered in a murmuration display. Each fall they can be seen doing this in England and Scotland. Even Scientists are stumped by these manifestations of swarm intelligence. Starlings’ reaction time is under 100 milliseconds. This prevents them from colliding and avoid predators. A film by Lliberty Smith and Sophie Windsor Clive. Watch more here on these birds and their aerial patterns they perform.
