Cougar,Panther,Leopard? You be the judge. This hunter picked up the rare footage that’s left debate for five years plus. His name is Phillip Ward and his claim is a black panther on this wild day caught on tape.
While deer hunting in Alabama, he filmed what appears to be a black cougar or panther trailing a whitetail buck. Other names have been labeled to this animal such as puma, leopard, and jaguar. Critics have supported the realness of the video but the big black cat still leaves a question mark on its true identity. See more here in this amazing hunting footage capturing a dark day in nature.

Cougars and Puma’s are the same thing…..The cougar, also commonly known as the mountain lion, puma, panther, or catamount, is a large felid of the subfamily Felinae native to the Americas.
A black panther is a melanistic color variety of a mountain lion.
