The Wild at Heart team decides to apply their western big game hunting knowledge on hunting whitetails in the Allegheny National Forest in their home state of Pennsylvania. During off season, they put in miles of hiking and scouting preparing for their deer archery season.
When November came, their skills, experience, endurance and resilience were tested to the limits in some harsh, unforgiving weather conditions. Their unwavering commitment to their goals to harvest a whitetail buck each plus early off season hard work paid off for all three of them in the end. Applying their western hunting tactics to eastern whitetail hunting not only offered them a greater reward, but also created some long lasting memories, and a new obsession to chase whitetails in the big woods.

I have such a deep respect for what you guys have accomplished. Not many people understand the experience and challenges of hunting public land big woods, where killing any deer at all is tough to say the least. My hat is off to you guys and congratulations on a great memory and accomplishment.
