This new 2012 footage was picked up showing a man and his dog encounter a deer and coyote in a matter of seconds. A triple standoff surprising this man and his best friend. The curious deer appears in the field proceeding with a stare down. Apparently three’s a crowd because a coyote shows up breaking things up. It was clearly in pursuit of the deer.
The deer takes off (1:16) after spotting the yote that came out of nowhere and then Donzi pursued the deer. The coyote retreated to the tree line as he moved into film the action. Luckily the dog never saw the coyote and came back. Coyote was hard to see regardless in the video because of the low lighting, but it came back around for a short period of time.
