A 2012 – 180″ buck with Bow at 40 yards. This deer was nicknamed “Ali” due to trail cam photo’s of him sparing with other bucks over the past few years . Now as a 5.5 year old, he was the target buck. The buck is a main frame 10 point with 7 additional tines/stickers measuring between 1-6 inches (15 inches total), putting him just over 180 gross P&Y.
The shot was about 3 inches back based on the angle of the deer, but all 28 inches of the arrow went into him and took out his liver and opposite lung. He only went 200 yard from the location he was shot and the recovery took less than 10 minutes the next morning.
