In a survival situation the juniper tree comes in quite handy. There are many uses for this common tree in the high desert such as natural shelter, food, and medicinal properties. You can also process the bark into a tinder bundle. In this video Jeff from Martin Survival shows you how to make a tinder bundle and demonstrates how to make fire using the tinder bundle, charred cloth and a magnifying glass.
