This brown bear charges two hunters, after apparently feeling threatened. It is common in Alaska to use the river as a road way for quick access to a hunting zone. The river allows you to travel across the rugged terrain with ease and without having the carry your equipment in the process. These hunters make their way down the river as they scout for some brown bears.
Soon they see three cubs and an angry mother bear. A mother trying to protect her cubs can be a very vicious and territorial animal. This bear charges agressively and these hunters hunters are forced to make a split-second decision. See more here as they let out a shot but is the muzzle blast enough to scare the bear back to the shore
