LWO Primitive Muzzleloader

Follow John Royer as he portrays a historical frontier longhunter in western Pennsylvania. John shows various winter scenes as he hunts old growth forests in search of whitetail deer with his .50 cal blackpowder muzzleloader.

Winchester Model Hunt

John Royer hunts for whitetail deer in PA during the second week of deer season. With his very old Winchester Model 1892 25-20 in hand, John sees some deer heading his way and gets his camera set just in time to take down a good sized doe on film.

Sweeney & Nugent’s Closer

Follow John Royer as he films Luke Sweeney and John Nugent on the last day of the Pa rifle season in clarion county. The guys start out by seeing a few deer and John Nugent shoots a nice 8 point buck with his 30-06. Later in the day, John Royer films Luke shoot a doe within the last remaining hours of the season with his .308.

Shane’s Recurve 8 Pt.

Follow Shane Reed as he hunts Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, during the last week of the archery season. Shane quickly notices a big bodied 8 point coming his way, and after a few soft grunt calls, the big buck turns his direction and comes within range. Shane makes a great shot on the buck and recovers it within 50 yards.
