Jameson and Kelly of Wild At Heart journey towards their second year of public land DIY backcountry. Almost instantly they are met by a bump as they find out an outfitters camp in already in their to-go spot. In response they decided to try their luck in a different area that they had never hunted.
With no short success they had to make another decision. After 4 hikes in and 4 hikes out they were left broken, beat up and discouraged, although they kept their hopes up and worked even harder for the next season. In 2013 their trip west proved successful after both harvesting bulls on an amazing unforgettable hunt.
Producer Note: Backcountry hunting is hard enough with all the supplies and gear then to haul around camera equipment on top of it. Most shots aren’t the smoothest so bare with us. This is our first video production.
