2016 Flintlock Deer Hunting Pennsylvania Frontiersmen. Follow video footage of a Revolutionary War Veteran and a Frontier Station Hunter as they deer hunt the western Pennsylvania frontier at the turn of the 19th century while searching for new lands to settle. This hunt took place in what is now Clarion county. War vet is using a .58 caliber while the station hunter is using a .50 cal flintlock muzzleloader.

Love the videos. PLEASE take off powder horn when anywhere near the fire. Notice how the plug is uncapped on the shooters horn when he is reloading? This happens easily. A spark from the fire in your horn can kill you.
