A dream led a lady bow hunter on a seven year pursuit to harvest the largest land predator on earth. It resulted in the taking of the largest Brown Bear ever taken by a woman bow hunter as recorded in the Pope and Young record books. The Journey took Anna Vorisek to the far reaches of South East Alaska, traveling in the boat “Dustin” and searching the shorelines by a small skiff, the hunters had to endure rough seas, rain, wind, and the dangers of stalking the largest land predator in North America. Despite the tough conditions, South East Alaska is one of the most beautiful places on earth, the abundant seafood, spectacular sunsets, pristine waterways and old growth forests, all contribute to the adventure of a lifetime.
