The Missouri Breaks region of eastern Montana is a land of opportunity for the public land DIY hunter. Gentle rolling terrain and plenty of game make for an exciting hunt. It’s not all easy though, and for Travis Baughton, finding success means grinding on after failed attempts. Follow Travis chasing mule deer in the rolling sage covered hills. With only a handful of days, Travis searches the barren landscape with hopes of arrowing his first archery buck. This public land, DIY hunt shows the opportunity and importance of our public lands.
