Mike Olbinski shares a must see weather timelapse film. Last Spring, he was able to spend more time shooting on the plains than ever before. Watch his journey that extended into 14 days of living, breathing, and filming these amazing nature storms in over 10 different states.
The first chase consisted of locations in his home state of Arizona and in April he drove out all night to Colorado. Eventually landing him in the Texas Panhandle and then back home. For Chase phase 2, he departed Phoenix to film in 10 total states: New Mexico, Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Nebraska, South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, and North Dakota. During this time over 45,000 frame of footage were taken for the short film.
