Larry Zach’s Big Timber Buck Hunt

The monster whitetail buck in this video became the inspiration for Larry Zach’s famous outdoor painting, “Big Timber Bucks.” The clips, taken in Des Moines, Iowa, show the buck during the fall of 1999 and the summer of 2000.
During the time, the buck’s antlers grow significantly. Zach and his sons eventually bagged the three bucks featured in this video during the seasons of 1999 and 2000. There have been a wide variety of articles written on Larry’s story about his paintings and monster accomplishments.
