Hunting Wild Hogs In Oklahoma On Farmland

As you can see from the video, hogs are a huge nuisance to farms and they can destroy massive areas of crops over time if not kept in check. The size of a herd of wild hogs in Oklahoma, where this video was shot, can be more than a dozen and each pig will do his fair share of eating each day. The farmers yield can be greatly affected at the end of the season based on how many hogs are on his land grazing his fields. The smaller farms with a wild hog infestation are the most affected.

Many hunters in Oklahoma have been hired to help farmers keep their land free of the massive herds of roaming stomaches. Many farmers welcome hog hunters to hunt their land for free. The thinning of hogs in some Oklahoma areas is a on going process and requires that hunters continue to hunt them for the scale to stay balanced.

If any one has hogs on their property in abundance and would like them hunted please let me know. My wife and I are pushing 70 and would like to try this type of hunting sometime before we are no longer physically capable of doing so. Wolf3822@aol.com

I am interested in gun hunting hogs in Oklahoma again. I’m from Kansas and have done a few hog hunts already. I own a ranch myself so I understand land owners concerns about giving strangers permission to hunt. I will leave your property the way I would expect a person to take care of my property.

I am very interested in hog hunting, as i have in missouri and michigan, I was raised leave it better than you found it. I can provide references of the type of person i am. If anyone is interested in having myself and little brother and possibly my nieces come and thin out any hogs, we all are very appreciative and very thankful. I have 4 high school senior gentlemen who are looking to go on their 1st hunt.
I think hogs would be a great start.

We are wiling to donate most of the meat to local charities, food banks, land owners who
allow us to hunt their land or what ever their wishes are.

Country boy from the hog capital of the world north Carolina currently living in Oklahoma. I am looking to hunt hogs to feed my family I cant see spending $300+ for a hunt better of heading to the grocery store. I will not field dress any hogs on property, unlike most posts this is not my first hunt I have the proper rifles for the hunt no wounded hogs.
