Hogdude’s Hog Hunting Ambush From Tree Stand By Using Feeder
About Video
Uploaded on 9 May, 2010
Electronic feeders are often used to lure wild hogs to a area. When the hog learns that the feeder is a safe source of food they will remember its location and eventually come back to the feeder to eat again. Some claim that the hogs can even remember the times when the feeder drops food and know to return to it to eat. This makes for an excellent opportunity to setup an ambush on a feeding herb of wild hogs, as seen in the video.
Bow hunting requires you to get closer to your target of course so being able to setup a ambush is optimal. By using the tree stand the hunter is able to maintain an advantage by being much higher then the normal viewing height of the hogs. This allows him to be patient and choose his target on his terms.
