Primitive Deer Hunting Pennsylvania Flintlock Rifle Muzzleloader 2016. Follow a station hunter at the turn of the 19th century hunt the wilderness of the western Pennsylvania frontier which is now known today as Clarion county. This long hunter carries his .50 caliber flintlock muzzleloader in hand along with his possibles bag, powder horn, blanket roll, fire starting kit and other survival gear into Indian territory to hunt whitetail deer. John Royer is using a TVM Poorboy Flintlock Muzzleloader with 75 grains of 2F GOEX blackpowder and a .490 roundball with a lubed pillow ticking patch. COOL FACT: The arrowhead John finds in the video is actually a real Native American arrowhead found within 3 miles from where this video was filmed. Although this video is not 100% period correct, this arrowhead just adds more accuracy to the portrayal of this video.
