Montana Wild presents the official teaser for “Jungle Bears”.
7 days, 12 miles deep in the backcountry, 19 bears spotted, 2 killed, 1 night spent under a tree, 19 Mountain Houses, 70+ pound packs, 3 cameras, and a lifetime of memories.
To us this is fun. Venturing deep into the unknown with a goal in mind and a pack on our back. Little did we know the road ahead of us would be harder then we imagined. The country was steep and the landscape a jungle of thick brush, alders, and downfall. After quickly filling our first tag it was a struggle to get in the correct position to take another mature black bear. Wet nights sleeping by the fire and marathon hikes to keep the trip alive. In the end the experience trumped all.
