There was a time when deer season meant shooting my bow a few times in early September and then finding a field edge on opening day. Over the years this has progressed into a year round obsession of studying maps, placing cameras and getting deeper into the woods to find the more elusive bucks that I would never see in those early years. Recently, I’ve added the challenge of capturing these hunts on film and then making videos to share with anyone willing to watch. This year my goal is to share this process through a series of short films. I hope the audience will see my progression as a hunter, guide, videographer and producer…and a giant buck on film.
