Using Hunting Dogs To Hunt Bear

In this video we go bear hunting in Vancouver using hound dogs to wear down the bear. The dogs can catch a hint of the bear in the wind and zero in on their location with their impressive sense of smell. Once they find the bear they chase it, scaring the bear and forcing him to run for safety. In most cases the bear will go with his instincts and climb the highest tree and try to wait out the threat. But it is to late because the hunters reach is far and going up the tree only makes for a easier shot.
